For most people exercise requires a high level of motivation. Having someone else to give you a push (and visa versa) and to be responsibly to, can make a big difference in the level of motivation that you have and therefore how often you will exercise. Exercising with someone else is also more fun!
Find An Exercise Partner.com will cater to all exercise types that either usually or can involve 2 or more people.
Tennis, badminton, squash, racquetball, jogging, swimming, working out, cycling, basketball, hiking whatever your flavour is we will cater to it. Our fill list of activites is over 90 strong.
Find an exercise partner will also cater to differing skill levels. It would be no use to find a running partner who is used to doing 10 miles a go, 3 times a week when you haven't got off the couch for 3 months.
To get started just complete the basic registration form, you will then be able to search our membership database and set up your own profile so other members can find you.
To help you make the most of this community we provide various tools to make your partner search as easy as possible. They include:-
Basic and Advanced searching
A Contacts list feature - helps with narrowing the search
A Personal Message Board (PMB) for easier communication with potential partners
A Feedback option for those that you exchange with - this will help you with partner choices and increase member accountablility.
We have 3 types of account:-
FREE - You can create a profile, search for partners and receive messages but you will need to upgrade to a PAID membership to be able to read messages and respond to them.
SILVER - You can send messages to everyone but FREE members will need to upgrade before reading and responding to your message.
GOLD - As per Silver Membership but "all" members can read and respond to your messages. You can also set up formal partnerships with all members. This option gives full access to all members, free or paid.
Paid memberships are very cheap as the site is partically supported through advertising.
In all cases email notifications are sent to the recipient when you post a new message.
